The Scottish Soldier, as depicted by Draner
The Belgian, Paris-based artist and illustrator Jules Joseph Georges Renard, known as Draner, produced a number of caricatures of military figures from a variety of countries. These are the Scottish ones in my collection. They were published by Dusacq et Cie. 14 Boult. Poissonniere, Paris.
