"Highlandmen are not nice of their food." So wrote James Hogg in the early years of the 19th century. I touch a little on the diet of the Highlands in my book - every visitor had a comment to make on the subject - and in the page I have just added to this website ("Highland Food"), I have written a few more thoughts on the subject, and posted a few more images.
Tomorrow, the good people at Simplesite who organise my website are stepping down and passing me on to one.com. I am hoping to find their approach to building a website as simple as Simplesite's, especially as I am no technological genius. It remains to be seen whether I can cope, but I sincerely hope so, and that I will be back soon with more new material.
