Osgood and John Urquhart: two venerable inhabitants of North Britain.

I have added two shortish pages to the website this week. One is on a small wooden plaque I have in memory of John Urquhart, who was said to be the oldest man in North Britain when he died in 1905, aged 103. The other looks at a letter from Osgood Mackenzie, which came with a 1924 copy of his book A Hundred Years in the Highlands. If you haven't read these memoirs, I can thoroughly recommend them for the lively picture they give of the Highlands at the end of the 19th century.
