Robert Gray's "Tour through a Small Part of Scotland Taken in the Autumn of 1824."

I have posted today an original account of a short tour to Scotland in 1824. It was written by Robert Gray, a professional man, for he spots at the Signet Library in Edinburgh a copy of the Literary Gazette which contains a review he wrote of a work on Italy. His account includes a trip to Loch Katrine, but he travels no further north than Fifeshire. Still, the account is of interest, not least for his description of the prison at Edinburgh, and the general record of what it was like to travel in those times.
